Assist in demonstration of PistenBully machines for customers. Attend trade shows as directed.

Position:  Vehicle Maintenance Technician II (Telluride, CO)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Diagnose & repair all vehicle problems, in an expedient fashion –should be able to meet flat rate, on average
  • Perform PM’s on all vehicles quickly and efficiently, meeting flat rate times
  • Perform advanced fabrication and custom modifications
  • Improvise and pioneer efficient methods for service and repairs
  • Give advice and pointers to less experienced staff

Position: Vehicle Maintenance Manager (North Lake Tahoe, CA)

Position: Intermediate Vehicle Maintenance Technician (Vail, CO)
Job Description:  This full time/year round position is responsible for the general diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Vail's fleet vehicles. Other job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide repair & maintenance to diesel & gas engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems & brakes. 
  • Communicate with department heads and employees regarding equipment problems and repairs
  • Must be able to assist other employees in diagnosis and repairs.
  • Train/teach employees when applicable.

Position:  Vehicle Mechanic 3 (Bend, OR)

Job Description: This full time/year round position is responsible for keeping all Mt. Bachelor vehicles in good, safe, working order. 

Additional Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and inspect all of Mt. Bachelor’s vehicles (including but not limited to snow mobiles, heavy equipment and buses)
  • Repair and or replace any broken parts & perform routine maintenance at specified intervals 
  • Fill out paper work so necessary parts can be ordered
  • Fill out paper work showing what work was done
  • Help keep the shop in a good clean safe working state
  • Help anybody who walks into the shop who looks like they need help
  • Welding and fabrication of parts
  • Build hydraulic hoses

  • Must possess current and valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
  • Canidates must be able to work in warm and cold environments in and out of the shop with minimal supervision.  
  • Must have a strong understanding of electronics, hydraulics and engine mechanics.
  • Experience working on snow cats helpful.  
  • Must be able to use hands in tight and awkward positions.  
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
  • The ability to weld and a welding certificate considered a plus.

Position: Alpine Service Technician (2 positions available - one in Salt Lake City, UT and one in Reno, NV)

Job Description: Reporting to the Western Regional Service Manager, this individual will be responsible for repairing & troubleshooting vehicles in our facility and in the field for our alpine and industrial products.

Specifically, he or she will:

  • Provide customer service support;
  • Troubleshoot all assigned vehicle/equipment systems;
  • Use diagnostic tools (i.e. volt ohm meters, scan tools, schematics etc.);
  • Ensure work order accuracy and completion for jobs assign;
  • Perform welding/fabrication jobs;
  • Fill out work orders, expense reports and make reservations for out-of-town work;
  • Document the correct information on the warranty tags for warranty parts and deliver parts to designated location; and
  • Provide information to warranty clerk for processing request to factory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Spring and summer work schedules are 40 hours a week, fall and winter work schedules will include, overtime, weekends, and on-call.
  • Must be able to travel through snow to reach a building or piece of equipment with tools and materials necessary to complete the job.
  • Will be required to lift, maneuver, position, remove and install heavy items. Must be physically capable of performing these tasks with assistance and alone.
  • Must be able to access various components located on any portion of a piece of equipment, on top, bottom, inside, behind, etc.

Position: Advanced Vehicle Mechanic (Park City, UT)

Job Description:  The Advanced Vehicle Mechanic provides maintenance and repair services for company fleet vehicles and assists in all other shop duties as assigned.  The fleet consists of PistenBully and Prinoth snow cats, Polaris and Ski-Doo snowmobiles, heavy equipment and small engine equipment.  

This is a full-time position and typically includes 4 ten hour shifts per week.  Additionally, this position is eligible for an attractive benefit package.
